Founded by Christy Turlington, Every Mother Counts is in the fight to end maternal death during childbirth. Its mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother everywhere.

Burning Instructions + Candle Care
Burning Instructions and Care
Your candle should always burn for at least an hour (it can take almost 4 hours for larger candles) to allow for a full melt pool to develop in order to avoid tunneling. Always trim your wick to a ¼” before burning. Never leave a burning candle unattended or burn for longer than 4 hours.

Safety Instructions
Follow the 1/4" rule: always trim your wick to a 1/4" - do not skip this step - this will allow your candle to burn properly, eliminate sooting, and extend the life of your candle.
Do not burn your candle unattended, around unsupervised children or near a draft. Keep pets away from a burning candle.
Keep the wax pool free from debris including carbon drippings as this can cause a fire.
